When questioned by RTL, UNICEF confirmed that its personnel are indeed conducting door-to-door visits across the country to seek new regular donors, known as “global parents.”

The locations being covered during this week’s outreach can be found on UNICEF’s official website, and a weekly list of these locations is also published on their Facebook page.

UNICEF teams are easily recognisable by their blue clothing adorned with the UNICEF logo. Each member carries a badge with their identity card. It should also be noted that legitimate UNICEF members never ask for cash. Instead, interested individuals are invited to become regular donors by filling in a form on a tablet.
