With a full month of anticipation remaining, visitors can prepare for 20 days of exhilarating entertainment.
Laurent Schwaller, representing the municipality of Luxembourg City, shares an overview of the upcoming event, highlighting some thrilling attractions.
First up is the beloved Wilde Maus (“Wild Mouse”) ride, now presented in an XXL version. While it has been part of the fair before, there’s an exciting twist this time around.
“You can experience the ride with or without VR glasses. This feature, typically found in amusement parks, makes it the only traveling roller coaster of its kind. Trying both experiences is highly recommended, as the ride with glasses offers a completely different, exhilarating experience. It’s truly a fantastic adventure suitable for the whole family,” Schwaller explains.
Continuing the excitement, visitors can brace themselves for the Airwolf, a “colossal” ride that catapults riders in all directions, demanding nerves of steel.

Another adrenaline-pumping attraction is the Gladiator, the world’s tallest looping carousel.
For those seeking a more leisurely experience, the Big Monster provides a gentle, swirling journey resembling a giant octopus.

The entertainment extends beyond thrilling rides. Pirates Adventure offers a simulated ride complete with water and special effects. This year, a brand-new ghost train awaits visitors, while the gastronomy scene also sees innovative additions.
Schwaller notes some culinary highlights, saying, “we introduce a new concept called the Baked Fish Slide, where guests can enjoy baked fish served in a unique way, including ‘to go’ options. Additionally, the freshly renovated Stall Stübli promises a delightful dining experience. The Taverne Gambrinus, a new restaurant, and the Schwarzwald Haus also feature exciting innovations.”
In just over a month, the Belle-vue Ferris Wheel will be ready to go on the Glacis and will boast air-conditioned gondolas for the first time this year.
The Schueberfouer starts on 23 August and lasts until 11 September. It will be open every day from 12 noon to 1am.
