
Since both bills have been green-lit by the respective Chamber commission, lawmakers will be presented the texts before the annual summer break.
The bill in question proposes to free up €86 million for the functioning of two police helicopters over the next 15 years. The aircraft are mainly used by the police force, but can also be deployed to assist in search and rescue missions.
The commission has also given green light to a bill regulating the use of bodycams for police officers.
