On Tuesday, the examining magistrate assigned to the case concerning the murder of a 25-year-old man on 20 January 2023, at a football pitch owned by the local club Jeunesse d’Esch, conducted a re-enactment of the events.
The three defendants, accompanied by their legal representatives, were present, alongside a witness and the lawyer representing the civil party.
The objective of the re-enactment, as stated in a press release by the public prosecutor’s office, was “to gain a better understanding of the case and aid in establishing the truth.”
Representatives from the technical police, criminal investigation police, and a magistrate from the Luxembourg public prosecutor’s office were also in attendance.
The judicial police’s investigation, under the supervision of the examining magistrate, is ongoing.
