A video dating from late June is currently circulating on Facebook, depicting a fight on Glacis in which police officers intervened and were attacked.

The pictures show a young man holding a female officer by the leg. In response, another policeman came to her aid and hit the man on the back several times. When he finally let go, the man hit the officer in the face once more.

RTL got in touch with the police regarding the footage, who then confirmed that a fight was reported on Glacis at around 12.30 am on 23 June, 2023.

Two people were immobilised and placed under arrest. In addition, a complaint was filed regarding violence against officers.
