The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) was called into action four times on Sunday as four accidents left eight people injured.

Two cars collided on Avenue de la Porte-Neuve in Luxembourg City at 1pm on Sunday. The accident left four people injured.

At 2.15pm, a car overturned between Pétange and Athus, leaving one person injured.

A motorcyclist was injured in a fall on the N34 in Bertrange at 5pm. Another accident occurred in Bertrange at 9.30pm, which saw a motorist crash into a flower bed on Route de Longwy. They were injured in the process.

A gas leak caused a fire in the ‘Wolser activtiy zone’ in Bettembourg shortly after 11pm. Nobody was wounded.

On Sunday night, an accident occurred in Linger. One person suffered injuries and was treated by emergency services from Bascharage and Esch-sur-Alzette.
