Emergency doctors of the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to several calls for assistance on Thursday evening, including one in Esch-sur-Alzette at 10.35pm.

A collision between a car and a motorbike had resulted in one person being injured.

Earlier in the evening, at approximately 7.30pm, an accident involving five cars occurred on the collector road within the Ehlerange Tunnel, heading towards Schengen. The emergency services of Bascharage and Sanem-Differdange promptly arrived at the scene to attend to two injured individuals.

Another person sustained injuries when a car crashed on the N19 between Bleesbruck and Bettendorf shortly after 8pm.
