A fight broke out between four people on Rue de l'étoile, in Diekirch on Thursday night.

One person suffered serious injuries after receiving stab wounds during the fight. The man was taken to hospital for urgent treatment, where he has been stabilised.

Three people were arrested as a result of a subsequent investigation, and will be brought before magistrates.
