Between 5.30pm and 6.35pm on Saturday, thieves broke into a single-family home on Rue de l’Acht in Niederfeulen. At least two people gained entry through a patio door. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. Investigators were on the scene.

Cars were also targeted. Between midnight and 4.45am on Sunday, the window of a vehicle in the Bouillon parking lot was smashed and two bags stolen. Around 2am, two more cars were broken into in the Montée de la Pétrusse neighbourhood. After the alarm of the first vehicle went off, the perpetrators moved a few metres down the street and broke the window of a second car.

Thieves were active on Avenue Monterey on Saturday evening as well. Around 6.40pm, a man reported that his necklace had been stolen. Three men had approached him, hit him in the neck before taking the necklace. The perpetrators then fled through an alley towards Hamilius. Police have opened an investigation.

In addition, officers responded to around 20 disputes over the past few hours. In three cases, the prosecutor ordered the removal of a person involved in domestic violence incidents. In two other cases, individuals were placed under arrest following medical evaluations because they posed a danger to themselves or others.
