Ministers have called for an urgent tripartite meeting between trade unions OGBL and LCGB, the government and business federation FEDIL, following the announcement that Husky Technologies is cutting 155 jobs in Dudelange.

Minister of the Economy Franz Fayot and Minister of Labour and Employment Georges Engel responded to an urgent parliamentary question by LSAP MP Mars di Bartolomeo and Dan Biancalana.
Trade unions had requested an urgent meeting, which is marked for 19 April. Discussions with the company are ongoing has to how to mitigate the economic and social impact of the job cuts.
