Prime Minister Xavier Bettel paid a visit to Apple's headquarters in Cupertino on Monday. A Facebook post pictures him with Apple CEO Tim Cook.

Bettel, who is on a four-day economic trip to the western coast of the United States, wrote: "Excellent to meet Tim Cook today at the Apple HQ in Cupertino. We had a great exchange on the importance of sustainability in the tech sector. Luxembourg firmly believes that green growth and innovation go hand in hand."

It's not the first time the PM met with the Apple CEO, who took over the position of founder Steve Jobs in 2011: The two already had discussions on connectivity and telecommunications in Davos back in 2020.

Bettel also recently welcomed Microsoft founder and philanthropist Bill Gates at the Ministry of State.
