Luxembourg's water administration has warned of a possible risk of flooding in the Grand Duchy from 7 am on Saturday until midnight.
According to the administration, flood risks are especially high around the surrounding areas of the Alzette, Sûre, Syre, and Chiers rivers.
Whilst no official warning level has yet been issued, it is very likely that the pre-warning level will be reached on Saturday night.
On Saturday afternoon, the municipality of Ettelbruck closed the Däich parking area and asked drivers to remove their vehicles due to the flood risk.

Ahead of water level rises, the water administration service will be on vigilance all weekend and in contact with the emergency services, the police, and Meteolux.
Compared to the four rivers estimated to be especially at risk, the Moselle's water levels tend to rise much more slowly and can also largely be regulated by sluices.
Nonetheless, officials are expecting the river's water levels to rise between Monday and Tuesday, with pedestrian areas around Remich potentially facing flooding.
