In an interview with the newspaper 'Luxemburger Wort', Minister for Energy Claude Turmes said that the Grand Duchy should be able to get through the winter without too many problems.

The Luxembourgish authorities initially thought that the country might face a major energy crisis this winter, but according to Turmes, the Grand Duchy is already out of the woods.

"Thanks to well-stocked gas reserves, we should be able to get through this winter," the Minister said. Nevertheless, Turmes remains cautious and warns that "if temperatures drop drastically in the next few months, we could be faced with a shortage again."

According to the politician from the Green Party (déi Gréng), "the right political decisions were taken at the right time." Turmes also thanked everyone who has contributed to Luxembourg's gas savings thus far.

Finally, the Minister said that the prospects for the next winter are good.
