
The Greens’ Echternach office has released a statement in which Origer explains that in his 15 years of being active in the CSV, he has undergone a private and political evolution that no longer allows him to stay affiliated with the party. According to Origer, the Greens are closest to his private and political beliefs.
Since the coalition has now lost its majority, parties will discuss how to move on and whether the council of aldermen can continue functioning. With only seven months until the municipal elections, there is not enough time for a political change, say local officials.
