The Ligue Luxembourgeoise d'Hygiène Mentale Asbl announced on Monday that the charity had been hacked, warning people against suspicious emails.
According to reports in the Wort newspaper, the hackers have attempted to use the charity's email addresses to launch phishing attacks.
Cyber security authorities have been informed of the hack and it is no longer possible for scammers to use the stolen email addresses - however, they may still be able to access duplicated email exchanges for duplicitous purposes.
The Ligue has warned anyone who receives suspicious messages to avoid sharing any personal information.
