The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps reported an incident on the road between Schrondweiler and Stegen shortly after 11pm on Friday.

A motorist crashed into a tree on the CR115. Further details are not known, although it was confirmed that one person had been injured in the crash.

The emergency services also reported a fire in Biwer after a gas grill caught fire around 9pm, while fire fighters were called out to an incident between Heiderscheidergrund and Eschdorf after a lorry's tyres caught fire. Both incidents resulted in material damage.
