Over the Easter weekend, a body of a woman was discovered in the basement of an Italian restaurant in Kirchberg.
The public prosecutor's office announced that the investigation had determined that the victim's death had occurred in the context of a robbery. Surveillance footage showed that the woman was violently assaulted by the culprits.

On Thursday, judicial police conducted searches that resulted in the arrest of three people suspected of being involved in the crime.
According to the newspaper Luxemburger Wort, these searches were carried out in the Bonnevoie and Gare neighbourhoods of Luxembourg City. The suspects are reported to be men between the ages of 20 and 30.
