9,550 new coronavirus infections were reported between 21 and 27 March, according to the Ministry of Health.

While the number of new infections increased from 7,791 to 9,550, the number of tests also increased from 20,255 to 24,603.

The incidence rate among non-vaccinated individuals currently sits at 1,407.7 per 100,000, compared to 1,541.2 for fully vaccinated individuals.

As for hospitalisations, 17 in 32 patients in standard care were unvaccinated. In intensive care, 3 in 4 patients were unvaccinated.
 
Luxembourg also recorded more active infections compared to the previous week. This figure increased from 13,945 to 17,502.
 
17 people died with or from the coronavirus between 21 and 27 March. Their average age was 78 years.
