The latest figures report that 3,057 new cases of coronavirus were discovered over the last 72 hours.

7,486 tests were conducted over the last 72 hours, yielding a positive rate of 40.83%.

3,495 tests were conducted on Friday, resulting in 1,383 positive cases, 3,466 tests on Saturday with 1,613 positive results, and 61 cases turned out positive on Sunday from 525 tests.

Seven new deaths from Covid-19 were reported, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 1,032 so far.

There are 21 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, down 13 from Friday's report, and four patients in intensive care, up one from the last update.

There are 17,500 active infections in Luxembourg, while 192,748 people have recovered from the virus. The R rate is at 1.18.

On Sunday, 10 cases were confirmed reinfections, corresponding to 10.75%

According to today's report, 479,497 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 1,274,567 doses have been administered in total. 430,404 people have received a second dose. 364,666 people have received an additional booster.
