The video, posted by a French national who moved to the Grand Duchy some months ago, has quickly amassed views on the popular social media platform.

Frenchman Jean-Patrick Barboza, who regularly posts clips about his project, explains how he came to Luxembourg eight months ago in precarious circumstances. He attributes the improvement to his situation to his time spent living in the Grand Duchy, as he was able to find work in a factory within two weeks of arriving. He said his work, although difficult, had enabled him to reach a stable financial situation after years of struggling in his home country.

Barboza said he had recently received financial support for his ecological projects, which he had been unable to get off the ground when living in France. He also criticised the low income in France, saying it was not sufficient to meet living costs. A number of TikTok users supported his comments, saying they had also moved abroad in order to gain success.
