The emergency services were called out to treat four victims of road accidents on Friday afternoon.
A pedestrian was knocked down by a car on Route de Luxembourg, Schieren, shortly after 3.30pm. The victim was treated at the scene before the Nordstad ambulance took them to hospital.
In Bettembourg, one person was injured after two vehicles collided on Route de Mondorf at 3pm.
Earlier in the day, a motorcyclist was hurt after a collision with a van at 2pm, again in Bettembourg. Local paramedics were supported by emergency teams from Esch-sur-Alzette in dealing with the incident.
At 12.30pm, a cyclist was hit by a bus in Weidingen and was taken to hospital for further treatment.
