The opposition party has requested an urgent meeting with minister Corinne Cahen regarding a private group seeking to open care homes in the Grand Duchy.
According to the request, the CSV is concerned about abuse allegations linked to the ORPEA group's homes for the elderly in France.
ORPEA has submitted proposals to open new establishments in Merl and Strassen, with the former approved and scheduled for opening in March 2022.
Recently though, the international group was accused of mistreating residences in its French care homes. CSV MPs Hansen, Roth and Spautz have requested urgent information from Minister of Family Corinne Cahen regarding the potential new homes. The Pirate Party also submitted a similar request on the same topic earlier this week, but have yet to receive a response.
