A number of people received fraudulent emails falsely claiming to be from energy provider Enovos on Saturday.

The message claims that people mistakenly paid a bill twice and that they are entitled to compensation, which they can receive with the help of a link.

People are advised not to respond to the email, not to click on any of the links, and not to state any personal information. In an official statement, Enovos has distanced itself from the phishing attempt.
