Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and Deputy Prime Minister François Bausch were both present during the formal inauguration.
During moments of crisis, the centre can be made operational within a short period of time and thereby provide an organised and safe environment for all workers.
The centre has all the equipment necessary for crisis management and can host a total of 105 workers.
Construction of the centre began in 2018, costing a total of €20.5 million.
