In a statement, Minister of Home Affairs Taina Bofferding explained the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps had mobilised teams of helpers, alongside the Red Cross, in light of the devastating losses experienced in Germany over the last few days.
CGDIS general director Paul Schroeder said 10 ambulances would be dispatched to Aweiler near Bonn to assist with patient transfers between hospitals.
