Since the end of June, Large Scale Testing researchers performed blood tests to look for antibodies against Covid-19.

Around 8,800 people were determined to have developed resistance to the virus. Public health officials bid caution however, the rate needs to be put in perspective with the overall progression of the virus, as well as the vaccine.

Faulty PCR tests also make it difficult to properly assess the situation, given that negative results may still indicate the beginning or end of an active infection. Minister of Health Paulette Lenert provided this insight to MP Gusty Gras (DP) in the context of a parliamentary enquiry.
