A total of 170 exhibitors are participating this year. Most notably, the Fair Mëllech cooperative, which is fighting for fair milk prices for farmers, is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Visitors and participants have to adhere to strict sanitary measures. A maximum of 2,000 people are allowed to be on the site at any given time. Every visitor has to pass the CovidCheck, i.e. negative test result, vaccinated, or cured. Rapid tests are, however, also available at the entrance. In order to avoid queues, tickets are exclusively sold online.
Among the 170 exhibitors are food producers, machinery dealers, as well as animal breeders.
The Agriculture Fair boosts a sort of “hybrid programme” this year, i.e. events are taking place over a variety of different channels. People can, for instance, place orders for local produce and products.
Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie visited the Fair on Friday afternoon with their son Prince Charles for the official inauguration. The event takes place until Sunday and is open between 9 am and 7 pm.
