The so-called "crows hill" is located behind the RTL headquarters and will also be the new home of the Michel Lucius high school.

Currently located in Limpertsberg, the high school is set to complete its inner-city move in 2028.

The new residential quarter, which spans 33 hectares, will further allow 7,000 people to move to Kirchberg, with a total of 2,500 apartments in planning. This will potentially increase the population of the Luxembourg City district to 27,500 residents.

"70% of the apartments will be priced below market value", says Marc Widong of Fonds Kirchberg.

Boulevard Pierre Frieden is already being expanded to make room for the tram rails and a cycling lane. Other routes are being reorganised as well, which means that over the next decade Kirchberg will change significantly in terms of layout and accessibility.
