With "immediate effect"Marc Gerges released as director of Radio 100,7

RTL Today
According to an internal email, the board of directors has decided to release Gerges from his duties until the end of his official notice period in June.

Employees of radio 100,7 received the news via email on Monday morning.

President of the administrative council Véronique Faber will take over reigns until a replacement director has been found and assigned. The internal memo further notes that this process is already underway.

The reason for the departure is a difference of opinion between Gerges and a significant part of the editorial office, which has been going on for months.

It now seems as though the problem could not be resolved, in spite of reconciliation efforts.
