The State Council will meet on Friday to decide, among other things, on the future of the Covid-19 measures currently in place.
In fact, MPs will have to vote on the new Covid-19 law by the end of next week.
The newspaper L’essentiel reported on Thursday morning that it is expected that terraces will remain open, while indoor areas of bars and restaurants will have to stay closed.
The curfew between 11pm and 6am is expected to be maintained as well. It thus seems likely that the current measures will be extended.
L’essentiel also reported that Minister of Health Paulette Lenert, who has been on sick leave for the past weeks following an incident on 23 March, is expected to resume her activities, as planned, on Monday.
