The Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchesse charity has announced the creation of a new scholarship which will award up to €300 per month to successful candidates, in the form of housing assistance.
Applicants must meet certain criteria - their studies must be conducted in Luxembourg and they must be residents in the Grand Duchy.
A commission will conduct a social inquiry and award the scholarship, taking into account social criteria. Beyond the financial aspect of this grant, scholarship holders will also benefit from personalised social support.
The Foundation has also established a partnership with SIS Youth & Work to help single parents who do not have a school diploma.
The objective of this project is to better prepare these young people for an autonomous and decent life, by facilitating their access to the job market or by offering them qualifying training.
