The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 318 new cases of coronavirus were discovered over the past two days.
As a reminder - the government did not communicate new data yesterday as they were performing system maintenance. As such, this update presents the new data from today, in addition to that which ordinarily would have been published today.
In total, three further deaths from Covid-19 were reported today, meaning the total death toll in the Grand Duchy remains 741. Of these, two belong in today's update, and one would have been communicated yesterday.
9,333 tests were carried out on Saturday, with 292 coming back positive. Today's update saw a further 488 tests carried out on Sunday, and 26 cases.
There are 107 patients in standard hospital care, an increase of four from the last update, while the number in intensive care increased by one to 22.
As of yesterday, there were 3,468 active infections in Luxembourg, while 56,864 patients have recovered from the virus.
65,851 people had received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg. 20,705 of those had received a second dose.
The R rate stands at 1.12.
