
The Grand Ducal police has issued a reminder of the restrictions in place, following parliament's decision to extend Covid measures until Friday 2 April.
The police said they would continue to patrol during this phase to ensure measures are being upheld across the country.
As a reminder, the following key measures are still in place:
- Curfew between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- Commercial activities: Limitation of the number of customers (1 client per 10 m2)
- Private gatherings with a number of guests exceeding 2 people are prohibited. The two guests have to be part of a same household.
- Bars and restaurants will remain closed until April 02, 2021 included.
- Drinks and food can no longer be consumed inside shopping centres, galleries, airports and train and bus stations.
- Alcohol consumption in public spaces is prohibited.
- Any gathering exceeding the number of 100 persons is prohibited. This does not apply to the freedom to demonstrate or to markets that take place outside. Wearing a mask is compulsory at all times.
- Wearing a mask is compulsory in all circumstances for activities in a closed place open to a public that circulates. The same applies for passengers in public transport (except for the driver when an interpersonal distance of two meters is respected or a separation panel separates the driver from the passengers).
- Religious actors, speakers, sports actors and their supervisors, as well as theatre and film actors, musicians and dancers who are professionally active and who are on stage are not taken into consideration for the counting of these 100 people.
- The practice of sports and physical fitness activities is permitted without the obligation of physical distancing and the wearing of a mask, provided it is carried out individually or in a group of no more than two people.
- Sports facilities (fitness rooms, swimming pools, etc.) may reopen their doors in respect of strict sanitary conditions.
- Supporters are not allowed during sporting events
