Following a public petitionRevision of legal basis for remote work has yet to be completed: Dan Kersch

RTL Today
The Minister of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy has responded to an enquiry by the Chamber's petition commission.

The petition demanded two guaranteed home-office days per week, which would allow for a reduction of traffic and thereby help protect the environment. Minister Kersch explained that the government’s coalition agreement does indeed include a revision of the outdated 2003 law, but that said process has yet to be completed.

The LSAP politician further conveyed that he believes a legal base can be created for cases where both employer and employee are in agreement over the amount of home-office days.
