The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 517 new cases of coronavirus were discovered yesterday.
Four new deaths from COVID-19 were also reported, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 396.
12,690 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate was 4.07%.
There are 173 patients in standard hospital care, an increase of three from yesterday, while the number in intensive care remains at 47.
As a reminder, on weekends the government only releases data on the number of tests, positive cases, hospitalisations and deaths from coronavirus.
As of Friday there were 8,685 active infections in Luxembourg. 31,678 people have recovered from the virus.
The effective reproduction rate is at 1.03.
