On Wednesday the Economic Committee's discussion was once again dominated by the consequences of the pandemic.
In August, 3,085 companies filed a request for partial unemployment benefits for the month of September 2020. The Committee has granted 2,966 requests.
The September requests concern around 15,700 employees.
Although this is still a high figure, it has dropped compared to the previous month, when more than 25,000 employees were affected by partial unemployment.
Nearly half of the requests come from the hospitality, tourism and events sectors.
