During the week of 17 to 23 August, police carried out checks throughout the country to ensure compliance with the rules taken to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
About 20 checks were carried out every day. Only four fines were issued in total. These concerned infringements relating to failure to observe closing hours or hygiene rules in bars or restaurants.
