The administration made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon.

After agreements were already made with Germany and Belgium to extend remote work until the end of the year, the ministry of finance announced that this exceptional measure was now also in place with France.

Minister Gramegna noted that this proved the level of cooperation between the countries in the fight of Covid-19 and a dedication to follow safety measures. He furthermore thanked his foreign colleagues for their efforts in setting up the agreement.

This means that now all cross-border employees have the possibility to work remotely from home while their salary is still being taxed in the Grand Duchy.
