Needless to say, the forecast looked rather different when yesterday’s morning editor (who is also today’s morning editor) prepared the above video. It won’t be quite as hot and dry as suggested above..
The weather agency has still issued an orange alert for Tuesday, but this time it’s not only heat-related. Up to 5 litres of rainfall is expected per square meter come afternoon, accompanied by heavy thunderstorms.
On the temperature side of things, the morning starts off like any other day this past week, sitting at around 22 °C. The heat will expand and reach 34 °C before thunderstorms in the late afternoon bring the thermometer back down to 27 °C.
