The Governing Council met on Friday, August 7, 2020 under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Xavier Bettel.

The ministers meeting in cabinet chambers prioritized action to be take on the current situation point regarding Coronavirus SARS-Cov2 -"COVID-19" in the Grand Duchy.
