The prolongation will last until the end of August, thereby offering a solution to the taxation issue between France and the Grand Duchy.

Minister of Finance Pierre Gramegna announced the extension of the deal on Wednesday morning via Twitter.

The measure will continue to facilitate remote work from home for cross-border workers commuting to Luxembourg until 31 August. The minister thanked his French colleagues for their cooperation in the matter.

The extension will help facilitate the transition period for both employers and employees. A comparable agreement had already been reached with Belgium on Monday.
