Good news for employees who work in Luxembourg but live in Belgium: they will be able to work from home until 31 August without being double-taxed.
Luxembourg's Minister of Finance Pierre Gramegna welcomed the new agreement. According to the minister, the extension of the homeworking scheme for Belgian cross-border workers will have a positive impact both on Luxembourg-based companies and their employees.
Cross-border workers benefit from greater flexibility and safety as they can continue working from the safe confines of their homes without being taxed in Belgium, Gramegna said. The minister thanked the Belgian authorities for their cooperation.
