Nature administration appealDon't throw away gloves and masks in nature or on the ground

RTL Today
While masks and gloves are quickly becoming commonplace, it appears some common sense is missing in how to properly dispose of them.

The nature administration has issued a reminder that gloves and masks are not biodegradable, and cause a risk of infection to those who have to pick them up to properly dispose of them if simply thrown to the ground. They should be disposed of in public bins, or the grey bin at home.

Supermarkets have also asked that people not dispose of masks and gloves in the toilet, which can lead to blockage. Again, bins are the preferred disposal destination.
