The Ministry of Health announced this Wednesday morning that a second person has died from coronavirus in Luxembourg. The number of infections has soared to 203.

On Tuesday morning, there had been 140 confirmed infections.

Prime Minister Xavier Bettel announced Tuesday that Luxembourg is to follow other countries, triggering Article 32.4 to declare a state of emergency that could last up to three months.

As of Thursday these numbers had increased significantly to 4 deaths and 335 cases.
