Last week, Minister of Health Etienne Schneider released further information on the future legalisation of cannabis for recreational purposes in the Grand Duchy. National production, restricted sales to residents over 18 and private use only were the main points to take away from this plan.
The project formed part of the coalition agreement signed was in December 2018 following last October’s parliamentary elections. A survey conducted by market researchers TNS-Ilres in February of that year demonstrated that a majority of residents (55%) were in favour of full cannabis consumption legislation.
Now that work is underway to push the legalisation bill through, are residents still in favour of production, sale and use of cannabis in the Grand Duchy? RTL spoke to a number of residents in the video.
