VIDEO: Fire Brigade Test
Our colleagues at 5 Minute took the Fire Brigade test

Our colleagues at 5 Minutes, Romain van Dyck and Thomas Toussaint, completed the tests to see if they could become part of Luxembourg's fire brigade along with 60 professional firefighters.

Organised by the CGDIS in Dudelange, the tests were split into four parts: climbing a 30m ladder, a course in full gear, climbing 138 steps in full gear, and an endurance test. These tests were to determine if the participants would be able to handle the physical and mental weight of emergency services.

It was impressive to see the skill that our fire brigade has and the work they had put into their training after six months. After they're accepted to the course, they still do two years of internal training.

They are currently recruiting, so if you think you have what it takes to become a fireman, head to their website.
