Disappeared abroadMissing Luxembourger Holzem's sister arrives in Bolivia to 'stir things up'

RTL Today
Nicolas Holzem's family is doing everything they can to find the disappeared Luxembourger.

We last reported that the Luxembourgish Nicolas Holzem allegedly crossed the Bolivian border on 16 June, after having passed by a Cuzco hostel in Peru. Since then, there has been no trace of the motorcyclist.

The initial disappearance notification had sparked a lot of interest and solidarity among the cyber community of the region, but, if Nicolas really is in Bolivia, the call should surely have been heard there as well.

This is why Nicolas' family has created a group on social media, aiming to address locals and eventually allow for new information to reach Luxembourg.

HIS SISTER LEAVES FOR BOLIVIA

Sites such as Adventure Rider have as of now shared the disappearance notice. On the family's side, all measures are being taken to find the Luxembourger.

According to our sources, one of Nicolas' sisters will arrive in Bolivia this Thursday 'to stir things up'. She has a meeting on the same day with the honorary consul of Luxembourg in La Paz.

Catherine is leaving New Zealand this evening and will meet the head of mission Europe at the embassy in La Paz. She hopes to meet the motorcyclists that travelled alongside Nicolas when she arrives.

And what are Luxembourg authorities doing in the meantime? Nicolas' family explained that there are ongoing procedures of authorising the judiciary police to access his personal data. He should soon also be registered in Interpol's disappearance report.
