The trails in Luxembourg's 'Little Switzerland' region have been flooded by recent heavy rain.

Several hiking trails in the Mullerthal region have become inaccessible and dangerous, RTL's exclusive pictures show.

Police urge hikers to avoid the Mullerthal region as landslides may still occur.

Prime Minister Xavier Bettel said on Friday that up to 20 people will be working on restoring hiking trails in the disaster-stricken region.

No less than 150.000 hiking lovers are expected in Little Switzerland’s hiking region in early June, the start of the tourist season. Will Mullerthal be ready to welcome its numerous visitors?
