During the course of the inquiry, police discovered that, in addition to the mini excavator, a second excavator and a truck had also been stolen. The two suspects were taken into custody and brought before the investigating judge.
Later that same day, a suspected drug dealer was arrested in Luxembourg City’s Gare district. A police patrol on Place de la Gare observed two men involved in a physical altercation and intervened using pepper spray to subdue them. Both individuals were taken into custody. A subsequent search revealed drugs and three mobile phones in their possession. The suspects were later presented to the investigating judge as part of ongoing legal proceedings.
