Seven hours of presence, five targeted locations and 568 alcohol checks. The Luxembourg police were very busy on Friday night and Saturday night between the hours of 8pm and 3am.
In Bissen, a petrol first stopped 97 drivers for a blood alcohol test. Two of them did not respect the legal limit. However, they were able to keep their license.
In Hosingen, Ingeldorf and Ettelbruck, police officers worked even harder by stopping 370 motorists. Nine should not have taken the wheel. One of them has even lost his driving license.
The motorists on the Schoenfels road were the most virtuous: out of the 101 controls, none came up positive.
